Last month's releases made personalized instruction automatic for every student. This month's releases take that further: what does "personalized" mean for everyone else? A teacher needs a diagnosis personalized to the standard, not just a score. A district admin needs an answer personalized to their exact question, not a report that may or may not cover it. And a student needs a dashboard personalized with their own goals, not one that only ever shows what they're assigned.

For Students: Personalized Down to the Concept and the Goal

Personalized Resources ensures intervention is built from what the student actually got wrong, not a repeat of the same lesson in different words.

• Generated from the concept a student is struggling with. From the Student Profile, Class Profile, or Kira chat, a teacher easily generates a resource informed by the specific questions the student struggled with and the answers they gave.

• Assigned without leaving the conversation. Generate, review, and assign resources entirely within the chat.

• Intervention work is never confused with other assignments thanks to a personalized tag and tooltip in the resource library, a dedicated filter in assignments, a standalone grade book entry, and a badge in the grader.

• The loop closes automatically. When a student finishes a personalized resource, their mastery recomputes on the next profile view so a teacher can see whether it worked.

  
  

Student Goals enables students to set and share personal or academic goals with their teachers.

• Students set, complete, and carry forward their own goals from the "For You" section of the dashboard they already use.

• Only goals a student shares surface to educators. A teacher, mentor, or admin gets a live read of each student's goals, filterable by status, with a per-student page for completion history over time.

• Keep student goals in view. Visibility into what a student is working toward lets educators tailor their support while preserving a sense of student ownership.

  
  

For Teachers: A Diagnosis Personalized to the Exam, a Pace Personalized to the Student

Assessment Diagnostics turns any exam into a personalized report on exactly what each student has and hasn't mastered — not just a grade.

• Kira preserves the exam exactly as written. A diagnosis is only accurate if it's scored against the exact exam a student  took.

• Standards are automatically tagged to each question during import — existing codes are kept as-is, missing ones are AI-assigned — and teachers can review or correct any of it.

• A score becomes a standards report. Each student gets a report showing exactly which standards they've mastered and which they haven't, and the teacher gets the same breakdown for the whole class, automatically grouped so they can see where to focus instruction next.

  
  

Assessment Diagnostics answers what to teach next. Content Availability makes sure the course can follow that lead: lessons stay locked until a teacher's ready to open them, and a resource can be required to finish before the next one unlocks — so pacing follows each student's progress instead of a date set in advance.

For Districts: Answers Personalized to the Exact Question, Delivered in Seconds

Custom Analytics allows admins to ask any question about their organization's data and get a complete, personalized answer in seconds.

• Ask anything, in plain language. An admin types a question like "Kira, give me a report on diagnostic performance across schools." and gets an answer back with a chart.

• Follow up without starting over. Ask about assessment performance, adoption, engagement, or at-risk students, and keep going — Kira remembers context, so "break that down by teacher" or "compare that to last quarter" builds on what came before.

• Distribute a report or dashboard. Admins can export multi-section reports as PDF or CSV and pin key charts into a dashboard shared with the admin team.
