Q&A with Ariana

Q: Tell us a bit about your background, what brought you to Kira, and why this opportunity resonated with you?

Ariana: I’m a 0 to 1 product builder at heart, and I’m most energized by imagining what a product could become and turning that vision into simple, thoughtful user experiences. I love ideation, solving ambiguous problems, and shaping solutions that feel intuitive and meaningful for users. What drives me most is building products that genuinely help people. Kira stood out to me because it brings together everything I care about: education, AI, and product design that solves real pain points in a powerful yet accessible way. I also genuinely wish I had a platform like this when I was in school. Something that made learning feel clearer and more personalized would have changed everything for me, so the mission immediately felt personal and inspiring.

Q: What are you most excited about as you start your journey here?

Ariana: I’m excited to build in a true startup environment where I can move quickly, iterate, get close to users, and contribute directly to the product’s evolution. I’ve been so energized by everyone I’ve met so far. The team is sharp, kind, and mission-driven, which makes Kira feel like the type of place where I can grow and make a real impact. I’m also really excited about Kira’s mission to build an AI-native learning platform that makes education more personalized, efficient, and engaging, and it feels meaningful to be part of that.

Q: What’s something interesting or unique about yourself that your new colleagues might be surprised to learn?

Ariana: I’m a lifelong builder and a lifelong learner. I’ve created everything from my own app to AI agents to small tools just for fun. I learn by doing, experimenting, and exploring new ideas, and that curiosity shows up in both my work and my personal life. Building things is just part of who I am.

Q: How do you see your role contributing to Kira’s mission of transforming education through AI?

Ariana: I see my role as helping bring clarity, simplicity, and strong product thinking to a space that can easily feel complex. What excites me most is the chance to take something as important as learning and make it feel easier, more intuitive, and more empowering for the people who rely on it every day. For me, contributing to Kira’s mission means deeply understanding the real challenges teachers and students face, and then shaping product experiences that remove friction and unlock confidence. I want to help build features that feel thoughtful, predictable, and genuinely helpful, the kind of product experience I wish I had growing up. My contribution is bringing that blend of vision, iteration, and user empathy to every part of the platform.

Q: When you’re not working, what do you love doing?

Ariana: I’m a huge NYC foodie and definitely a sweets person. I love trying new restaurants and dessert spots. I’m also really into fitness and tennis, and anything that pushes me to grow mentally or physically. And honestly, I love building things for fun, whether it’s an AI project, an automation, or a random product idea. Creating things is just part of who I am.

Ariana brings curiosity, speed, and a builder’s mindset to Kira. We’re excited to see her translate teacher and student needs into clear, empowering product experiences that make learning feel more personal and accessible. Welcome to Kira, Ariana!
