Q&A with Bridget

Tell us a bit about your background—what brought you to Kira, and why did this opportunity resonate with you?

I started my career as an 8th grade special education/ELA teacher. After teaching, I worked in edtech and then in the accessibility field. This opportunity resonated with me because I know that if I had access to Kira when I was a teacher, it would have been incredibly impactful. I’m excited to work with teachers to implement Kira in their own classrooms and to see the impact it has.

What are you most excited about as you start your journey here?

I’m most excited about working with teachers on a daily basis. I’m looking forward to learning more about what it’s like to be a teacher in the age of AI and how educators can best use it to transform student learning and outcomes.

What’s something interesting or unique about yourself that your new colleagues might be surprised to learn?

I rescued a dog named JoJo (named after Jo from Little Women) from Puerto Rico four years ago.

How do you see your role contributing to Kira’s mission of transforming education through AI?

I see my role as a bridge between Kira’s AI capabilities and real classroom impact by ensuring teachers and districts adopt, trust, and benefit from the platform in their day-to-day workflows. By translating educator insights into clear success metrics and actionable product feedback, I’m excited to help ensure Kira becomes a trusted instructional partner that delivers scalable, measurable learning impact.

When you’re not working, what do you love doing? Any hobbies, interests, or passion projects you’d like to share?

I love walking around Brooklyn Bridge Park with my dog JoJo, exploring the city, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, reading and audiobooks, and going to concerts with friends.

We’re thrilled to have Bridget on the team. If your school is exploring practical ways to bring AI into teaching and learning, Bridget and our Customer Success team are ready to help you get started and see results quickly.
